State Rep. Tim Barhorst | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Tim Barhorst (R-Fort Loramie) has issued a statement in response to Governor DeWine signing a disaster declaration for Logan County after last week's storms.
"The area was devastated by the tornado that tore through Indian Lake last week, leaving behind significant damage. I appreciate the Governor declaring a State of Emergency so residents affected in Logan County can begin to rebuild," said Barhorst.
He also mentioned, "The Ohio National Guard arrived in Logan County this morning to assess the needs of our area and assist with the clean-up process. The assistance from Ohioans near and far has been tremendous."
Barhorst expressed his commitment to assisting the affected community, stating, "I will continue to work with local officials, the Governor, and my colleagues to ensure Logan County receives the short and long-term help they need. Through the resilience of the Indian Lake community, we will help our friends and neighbors recover."
