Former Versailles High School standout Tara Fritscher played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Versailles High School standout Tara Fritscher’s current collegiate team the Case Western Reserve Spartans won 7-1 against the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Mather Park at 5:15 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen in the tournament.

The Case Western Reserve Spartans’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at Mather Park.
