As part of the Fountain Blvd.- Canal Sanitary Sewer Project, the water level in the canal will be lower starting Tuesday, May 31st for 2-3 weeks.
Spillway #1, just north of Ziegler Road will be opened to accomplish this drop in water level. Once the construction boring under the canal is complete and a new sewer is installed, the canal level will be restored.
