Gas Line Replacement to Begin in Sidney

Ritter Plumbing and Pipeline Company has been contracted by CenterPoint Energy to install new gas mains and services in the following areas:

• Wapakoneta Avenue from Russell Road to Bennett Street
• Brookburn Street at Wapakoneta Avenue
• Bennett Street from Wapakoneta Avenue to Main Avenue
• Main Avenue from Russell Road to Bennett Street
• Garfield Avenue from Bennett Street to Cul-de-sac
• Miami Avenue from Bennett Street to Kossuth Street
• Alley between Wapakoneta Avenue to Main Avenue
• Belmont Street from Main Avenue to Broadway Avenue
• Front Street from Wapakoneta Avenue to Bel-Mar Lanes

Preliminary work (location of existing utilities sewer. water, gas and installation of new gas main) began this week. Replacements/tie-overs of gas services will begin approximately first week of May.
